The Health Program is the sole of IDA work in NWS
this is a developed program including primary
healthcare, secondary healthcare, and specialized services in terms of blood banks, physical rehabilitation,
and other related services.
All health programs are implemented in accordance with high-quality procedures, WHO and UN agencies’
standards and protocols, and up-to-date medical protocols.
As part of IDA’s integration approach
DA works in integration with the mental Health projects in health
facilities, aiming to increase the availability and accessibility to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support
(MHPSS) for most-at-risk conflict-affected persons, including men women, children, youth, elderlies and
improve their knowledge on PSS topic through community-based awareness-raising sessions
IDA is one of the main nutrition active partners in the NWS
With over 41 nutrition centers integrated into
IDA health facilities and in partnership with UNICEF and WFP, IDA became the main nutrition service
provider in North Aleppo and Idlib through CMAM, IYCF, RRT, and Community awareness.
All IDA nutrition services are aligned with protection and health support to ensure the integration of
IDA works in the WaSH sector as a complimentary package with health and nutrition
aiming to provide a comprehensive package of services for the served
population. Additionally, IDA covers the gaps in this sector when there are emergency
needs or limited access to other WaSH partners. IDA is working in Hygiene
