As a part of IDA’s plan to develop the doctors’ and nurses’ skills, a three-day training in “Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI)” was held at Mohamed Wassim Maaz Hospital.
The training was about common childhood diseases (cough, labored breathing, diarrhea, convulsions) and in addition to a session about the malnutrition.
The large prevalence of these diseases during the winter leads to poor hygienic conditions due to overcrowding in the population groups and camps which have difficult winter conditions and lack of a healthy environment.
